Do I have to change how I normally pay?
No. Moo-No provides an additional payment option at participating businesses. Existing payment methods remain available.
What is Saving Mode?
Saving Mode allows customers to keep their available Moo-No benefit, reducing the amount they pay when the benefit is available.
What is Supporting Mode?
Supporting Mode lets a customer skip the available saving. The customer pays the regular applicable amount, and the merchant commits that amount from its own funds to its selected nonprofit. The customer is not donating and cannot deduct it. The checkout card shows that merchant's exact rate and base.
Am I making a charitable donation when I select Supporting Mode?
No. Supporting Mode does not involve a charitable donation by the customer. The customer makes a purchase, and the participating merchant makes a corresponding support commitment from its own funds. The customer cannot deduct it.
Who fulfills the merchant's support commitment?
The participating merchant is responsible for fulfilling its commitment directly. Moo-No records and reports these commitments but does not collect, process or distribute charitable contributions.
Does Moo-No hold my money or digital assets?
No. Moo-No does not custody customer funds or digital assets, operate customer wallets or control private keys. Payments are executed through the customer's wallet and the applicable payment infrastructure.
Do merchants need to replace their payment systems?
No. Moo-No is designed to work alongside existing point-of-sale systems and payment processors.
Is Moo-No available everywhere?
Moo-No is currently preparing for a limited pilot with selected participating businesses. Availability will expand as the program develops.
